Inspired by Scandinavian design, this house utilizes a minimal color pallet and high-contrast materials to accentuate the structure’s simplicity. As the middle house in a row of three new builds, we wanted it to stand out on its own but also compliment the houses on either side.
Arriving at the front walk you are met by the reclaimed granite curb that creates a planting bed. The rough granite compliments the new clean lines of the architecture. A few of the key features of the home’s interior include an open triple-height switchback stair, a vaulted skylight in the master bedroom, and a light-filled open plan living area. We designed a rooftop deck on the third floor that appears to be cut out of the roof volume, with wonderful views of downtown Indianapolis and ample space for entertaining. The backyard features mature trees, a detached garage and a covered rear deck perfect for family time or entertaining.
This home was the second in a series of three unique spec builds completed in conjunction with a local developer. The home sold in less than two weeks on the market.
