Our Team Bios

Jeffrey Morgan, CGP

Jeffrey Morgan is passionate about bringing new life to urban neighborhoods with thoughtfully designed homes that are aesthetically beautiful, energy efficient and built to last. As the owner of Green Square Design | Construct, Jeff does a little bit of everything to create a home – not just a house – for Green Square’s clients. He aims to make each project a custom-fit that feels like “home” from Day 1.

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he obtained a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Design and has over 20 years of experience in both the architecture and construction industries.

He embraces green building, and proudly serves clients as a Certified Green Professional (CGP) from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI).

Jeff lives in a historic home he lovingly restored in the Fountain Square neighborhood in Indianapolis with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys riding bikes and motorcycles, playing tennis and camping with his family.

Favorite Green Square Project: “I love the Sile home in Fountain Square – it is one of the best expressions of our interactive design process. It’s also a great example of how we collaborate with clients to create something that is not only beautiful, but also perfectly suits their needs and desires.”

Joshua Pfendler
Design Manager

Joshua Pfendler relishes the stylistic freedom he enjoys at Green Square, which allows him to explore new design concepts and materials on behalf of his clients.

He is involved in all design aspects of Green Square projects from conception through space planning, developing the aesthetics, and selecting the best materials for the project. He loves seeing a design evolve from a concept sketch to a finished product.

Josh grew up on the southeast side of Indianapolis before enrolling in the Savannah College of Art and Design where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture.

After stints in Savannah, Ga., and Asheville, N.C., he and his wife moved to Carmel, Ind., where they currently live with their two boys. Joshua enjoys playtime with his children, bicycling, paddle boarding, art making and feasting on Thai cuisine.

Favorite Green Square Project: “My favorite is 1011 Orange St. in Fountain Square. I really enjoyed designing a clean, modern home based on bold geometries and a minimalist color palette.”

Renee Kelley
Office Manager

Renee is zealous about the process of making dream homes come true—from a project’s initial plans to handing clients the keys to their new home and seeing the joy on their faces.

Renee keeps the team organized and ensures that our systems are running smoothly. She is responsible for bookkeeping and handles human resources duties. She is always up for a challenge, and thrives on helping Green Square projects exceed the client’s expectations. Renee loves that Green Square values input from clients and team members alike throughout the homebuilding process.

Renee has a degree in business administration from Aristotle College, but she also has a love for interior design and staging homes. In her free time, she enjoys live music, festivals, entertaining and spending time in the great outdoors and with her three grown children in Beech Grove.

Matt Mikulecky
Construction Superintendent

Green Square Construction Superintendent Matt Mikulecky works directly with clients, subcontractors, vendors and field teammates in managing projects from the ground breaking to the finishing touches. By being hands-on every day, Matt is able to see Green Square clients’ dreams come to life.

“To see how much of a positive impact we’ve made on someone’s home is the greatest feeling and accomplishment,” said Matt. “Coming from the remodeling side of construction, creating lasting relationships with clients and seeing how much we can impact someone’s life really brings me joy.”

Matt studied building construction safety management at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and traveled the Midwest and the South doing construction during his college years. Matt went on to work in high-end remodeling in Wisconsin before moving to Carmel, Indiana and beginning his position with Green Square.

In his spare time, Matt spends time with his wife and two children, loves saltwater fishing in Florida, enjoys taking in a Broadway musical here and there and coaches high school lacrosse. Matt also likes to take on remodeling projects in his own home and the homes of family members.

Jack Donohue
Estimating/Purchasing Manager

Jack serves as the Estimating/Purchasing Manager at Green Square and oversees the calculation of costs and materials needed to complete a project, making sure that the correct supplies are ordered for each job.

Jack loves working with the Green Square team to solve problems. “We do a great job tackling challenges when we all put our heads together, and I enjoy working with such professional builders,” said Jack. “It’s a bonus that Green Square is in my neighborhood, and I get to see our buildings everywhere I go!”

Jack grew up in Warsaw, Indiana, and went on to study business administration at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He enjoys traveling, cooking, camping, swimming, going to concerts and football.

Favorite Green Square Project:

“I’m torn between the first two projects that I started to work on. The McCreery house, an Indy Rama show home, is very exciting because we get to display our hard work to the public. The Wagnon house, a LEED project (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), represents our ability to take on challenging designs.”

Billy Ratthahao
Sales Manager

Billy Ratthahao loves seeing people’s dream homes come to life. As the sales manager at Green Square, he manages client relationships and makes sure that the process goes smoothly from the groundbreaking to the finished product.

Billy is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and is a licensed real estate broker through @Properties.
Billy and his wife enjoy living in Reagan Park, with easy access to Bottleworks, Broad Ripple and downtown, with plenty of amenities in between. He enjoys strolling down the Monon trail to grab coffee from Provider, something that happens a bit too often.

Favorite Green Square Project:

“237 N. Summit is one of the first projects I saw from Green Square, as I was friends with the clients prior to joining the team. Seeing Green Square help the clients design a tasteful new build in a transitioning neighborhood was truly remarkable. The wainscoting on the staircase was particularly striking as it immediately greeted guests, then led to the oversized loft.”

Monil Patel
Project Coordinator

Monil Patel focuses on the big picture of each project and loves to connect the dots to make every build a dream home for our clients.

Monil helps facilitate projects so that clients get the best price possible and ensures that everything runs smoothly with the budget, schedule and flow of materials and equipment. He also verifies that quality standards are met for each build.

Monil holds an M.S. in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic and State University (Virginia Tech). His hobbies include cooking and hosting friends and family, especially in the summer. He also loves dancing, singing karaoke to old Bollywood songs and playing cricket.

Favorite Green Square Project:

“So far, I love seeing the process of Landrum coming together and visualizing how it will look after its completion.”
